Reconciliation of indexes usually must be recorded within the Finance and Research Dashboards, which show detailed transactional and encumbrance activity, including Personnel detail.
Departments may now request exemption from using the dashboards in favor of their own methods to document index reconciliations.
The dashboard exemption request must first be approved by the Controller's Office. Requests may to be emailed to controller@vcu.edu, and should include where index reconciliations will be documented and why this method is superior to the dashboards.
